Our Story

With breathtaking views and plenty to do in the local area, Sento il Cucù offers everything you could want for your stay in Lunigiana.

The agri-camping is located just 6.5 km from the Pontremoli motorway exit, nestled near the Gordana Valley Conservation Area, where you can admire the Stretti di Giaredo Canyon.

We are delighted to share with you this farmland that has been cultivated by our ancestors for at least 120 years.

In creating the agricamping, we aimed to preserve the natural environment as it was, making only the necessary changes to make it more comfortable and welcoming.

The meditation terrace, hammock area, and communal spaces are available to guests

Our Story

The agri-camping Sento il Cucù was created by Mamma Giovanna, who chose to share this beautiful location, once belonging to her mother and, before that, her maternal grandparents. Her wish is to immerse you fully in country life and provide a holiday in close harmony with nature.

We practice agriculture that may seem invisible compared to the flat plains, but it is essential to keep our grandparents' land fertile and well cared for, preserving the knowledge and traditions in these disadvantaged hill and mountain areas.

From the initial idea, we rolled up our sleeves to create a unique and comfortable space with our own hands, combining imagination and creativity, and dedicating a lot of patience and care to provide our guests with moments of pure relaxation—perfect for those who need to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and wish to rejuvenate both mind and body.

We strive to take care of the land our ancestors left us over 150 years ago, passing down the tradition from generation to generation.

Sento il Cucù is not just an agri-camping site; it is first and foremost a small farm in Lunigiana, the northernmost valley of Tuscany, nestled between Emilia-Romagna and Liguria.

We produce organic olive oil and jams made with local fruit.

We have a beautiful vegetable garden, and our bees provide us with excellent chestnut, acacia, and wildflower honey.
